Great Pop for the Price

As I entered into the Mpls St. Paul Magazine’s Taste! event on Saturday, my eyes were drawn to a soft blue table with soft blue champagne coolers and my ears to the “pop” of a champagne bottle being opened.

Upon closer examination, I fell in love with the bottle of LaMarca Prosecco.  I’m one of those “wine snobs” who is initially drawn in by the labels more than the notes.

The prosecco, sparkling wine from Italy, was so pale that it looked almost clear.  In the brochure it states “on the nose the wine brings fresh citrus with hints of honey and white floral notes. The flavor is fresh and clean.  The finish is light, refreshing and crisp.”

LaMarca is definitely my favorite prosecco I’ve ever tried.  And it is very affordable, retailing under $20.

In addition, all I could think about are the possibilities of building an event design based on the gorgeous blue and silver label.  hmmmm, let’s see….
