Mpls. St. Paul Magazine Style Parlor

I was lucky enough to be featured in the “People Who Do Cool Things” column in Mpls. St. Paul Magazine.  After being interviewed for the article, I got a call from the editor asking if it would be okay for them to videotape a demo of the Style Stations.

Of course!

So if you haven’t had a chance to get to Gaviidae to see the Style Stations for yourself, here is a great way to see what it is we’re doing via The Style Laboratory | Multimedia | Mpls.St.Paul Magazine + mspmag.com

Cobalt Blue Dress plus What Boutonniere?

As I was demoing the Style Stations, I was asked what boutonniere would work with a cobalt blue prom dress.

This one, from Sadie’s Couture Floral & Event Styling, caught her eye as the blue in the feather would be a subtle tribute to the color of her dress.

It was fun being able to help someone with just one random detail for a not-so-common boutonniere idea.

Style Board This!

If you want to know how easy it is to create your own Style Board (aka inspiration board), this one took me five minutes on The Style Laboratory’s Style Station.

The idea that you can sift through the thousands of images that are loaded into our Style Stations and place them in easy to use Style Board templates is pretty darn nifty.

All a complimentary service (just $5 to print the Style Board to take with you).

Try it. You’ll like it.
